This tutorial explains how to rip a CD as MP3 using Max and upload the files onto an FTP server using CyberDuck.

Prerequisites

  1. Download CyberDuck and Max (in case you cannot manage to extract the latter, use 7zX).

Ripping the CD

  1. Extract and open Max
  2. Open the Preferences from the Max menu
  3. Click the Format tab
  4. Choose MP3 from the list below and click the + button
  5. Close Preferences pane by clicking OK
  6. In the main window click on Query and wait for the track names to appear. If they don't, enter them manually
  7. Click on Select All
  8. Click on Encode
  9. Your files will be copies to your Music folder in your personal folder

Uploading the files

  1. Open CyberDuck
  2. Add a new connection and enter your credentials
  3. Drag and drop the music files from your Music folder onto the CyberDuck window
  4. Wait for the file transfer to finish
